Raised by a Pastor and a prayer warrior, I knew the Lord before anything else and officially gave my life to Christ at 16. Early on, I aspired to succeed my father as the Pastor of our church. However, growing up being the “churchboy” among my peers felt like a weight, and I sought a different identity, trying to fit in as an athlete, a class clown, or the smart kid. Despite my efforts, I became trapped by insecurities and self-hatred stemming from my failure to maintain these identities.
During my sophomore year at UCLA, after hitting rock bottom, God extended His mercy and redefined my identity in Him rather than in worldly labels. He taught me humility, service, and the importance of abandoning my obsession with external validation. Though insecurities persisted for a while, I now had a guide for overcoming them. As I grew in freedom, I felt a calling to share what God had taught me. I founded UN-ASSOCIATED, a 501(c)3 multimedia platform to help others discover and cultivate their identity in Christ through digital content and events like poetry shows and bible studies.
In 2020, COVID-19 hit and I moved back home, where I assumed more responsibilities at my father’s church, including roles as being our drummer, Media Team Lead, youth leader, and eventually Youth Pastor. Today, I am honored to have been chosen to succeed my father as the Head Pastor of Redeeming Grace Christian Center. I’ve already begun assisting him in pastoral duties and working to build the ministry.
In 2021, I started pursuing a Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary, and I am set to graduate in May 2025. This education has enriched my ministry approach, providing practical knowledge for leadership and strengthening my biblical convictions.
My ministry philosophy is to help people integrate their faith into every aspect of life, not confining Christianity to church services but allowing it to permeate art, culture, and everyday living. By surrendering ourselves to God’s will and embracing both traditional and unconventional methods, the Church can transform lives through His power.
Nothing compares to witnessing someone give their life to Christ. Hearing testimonies from the community motivates me daily, but it’s God’s love and anointing that fuels my service. I am committed to serving Him for the rest of my life.
I am now a full time minister, and I invite you to inquire more about what God is doing through His ministries, and prayerfully consider if and how you might be called to join me in my efforts. Feel free to explore more surrounding UN-ASSOCIATED AND R.G.C.C., and set up some one-on-one time with me to discus more! Thank you!
1 Corinthians 12:4–11 reminds us that God has given each of us gifts for the profit of the global Church. We are not meant to do ministry alone. I invite you to schedule time on my calendar for us to get together and talk more about the my ministry vision and financial goals!
I invite you to stay up to date with what God is doing through the my ministry journey. Your prayers are always welcomed!
